Edward Harlowe is a writer and lecturer specialising in ancient religions, mythology and the archaeology of the Mediterranean world.
He grew up in Essex, studied at Oxford and spent several years living in Florence and Rome. His research has taken him repeatedly to Italy, Egypt, Greece and across the eastern Mediterranean.
Harlowe is a member of the Egypt Exploration Society, the Society for the Promotion of Roman Studies and the Gruppo Archeologico Romano.
Writing under other names, he has published twenty-four books to date: five novels and nineteen works of non-fiction. Many of his books have become international bestsellers and have been translated into as many as twenty-four languages.
